County Airports (Gillespie Field) Antique Aircraft display days have been cancelled since April due to Covid-19. However, we have found a way for pilots who have been coming to KSEE for their signoffs to account for the cancelled display days from April to December 2020. For GPA members who regularly displayed their aircraft in 2019 and 2020, Phyllis Trombi has secured permission from the Supervisor of Marine and Aviation to sign off the Certifications of Attendance for Aircraft of Historical Significance. for aircraft of of Historical Significance” means any aircraft which is an original, restored, or replica of a heavier than air powered aircraft which is 35 years or older or any aircraft of a type or model of which there are fewer than five in number known to exist worldwide.

As a service to GPA members, Phyllis has graciously agreed to provide signoffs for regular attenders by appointment only. You must have a reservation in order to get your papers signed and stamped. No walk-ups will be accommodated!

If you previously displayed your antique aircraft at the KSEE Terminal Building ramp in 2019 or 2020, you may sign up below to reserve a time with Phyllis at the Gillespie Field Terminal Building on either Saturday December 5th following the GPA Zoom meeting, or Sunday December 6th. The signup times will be in 5-minute increments both days. Phyllis will give you a completed display sheet for the April – December 2020 display dates. 

Do not bring your aircraft to the ramp. Just come to the usual signoff location in front of the terminal as you are accustomed. This offer applies ONLY to regular attenders who got their signoffs from Phyllis or Leslie on the first Saturday of each month (concurrent with GPA meetings). If you did not display your aircraft  at the KSEE GPA display in 2019 or 2020, you are not eligible. You will need to make other arrangements for your signoffs. Remember – you only have to display your aircraft 12 individual days during the year. There is no requirement for a monthly signoff.

The meeting with Phyllis will only take a couple minutes and Covid-spacing and masks will be required per county covid regulations. Please do not take any more time than is necessary to get your paperwork. She will have a lot of pilots and only a short time for each, so it is not an opportunity to socialize.
